SOCIAL ETIQUETTE FOR CHILDREN
Duration: 1 session.
Purpose
This course guides and trains children aged 5-11 to become more responsible, kind, and polite. Good manners are an important indicator that contributes to developing confidence and success as they grow.
Course content:
- Social etiquette rules.
- How to greet and introduce oneself, proper forms of address, eye contact; confidence through communication posture.
- Treating others with respect by mastering principles of kindness, politeness, and thoughtfulness.
- Understanding public etiquette for proper behavior in crowded places, on transportation (cars, taxis, airplanes, trains, etc.), and while moving on the streets.
- Safe and polite use of elevators and public queuing rules.
- Rules to follow when borrowing items from others.
- Dealing with bullies.
- Proper behavior at the dining table and during meals.
- Basic dining etiquette, simple party etiquette, and dos and don’ts at the table.
- Handling difficult foods.
- Correct use of dining utensils.
