SHARING FROM FOUNDER
Master. AN NA LE
Since childhood, I have had a particular interest in etiquette and communication styles. At family parties or gatherings, I often paid close attention to how adults conversed, greeted each other, and behaved. These observations sparked an initial fascination in me, a desire to learn and understand etiquette and communication styles.
As time went by and I grew older, opportunities to study and work in various countries around the world opened up for me. I had the chance to live, work, and frequently travel to many countries—places where the cultures and communication styles were completely different. I realized that each nation has its unique and distinctive cultural life, and my love for the diversity and richness of different cultures grew.
In addition to my passion for culture and etiquette, I have also taken on the role of a lecturer at Vietnam National University, as well as actively participating in training programs and teaching about culture, intercultural communication, and international etiquette both domestically and abroad. Each trip, each interaction with people from different cultures, made me more aware of the importance of understanding rituals, and building style and demeanor in today's globalized environment. The knowledge gained from these multicultural experiences not only enriched my understanding and strengthened my childhood passion but also motivated me to complete my Ph.D. thesis on culture in my chosen academic path.
A significant turning point in my journey was when I decided to take a professional course in etiquette and protocol in Singapore and the United Kingdom. There, I not only acquired formal, detailed, and official knowledge but also had the opportunity to connect and consolidate the valuable experiences I had accumulated. This knowledge and these skills have become a solid foundation, helping me to be more confident in my chosen path.
The Protocol Academy Vietnam (PAVI) was born out of these passions. PAVI is a place where I can share my accumulated knowledge and experiences, helping to build confidence in children like me when I was young, and further, in the youth of Vietnam. I aim to contribute to building a community and a future generation of Vietnam with confident, standard, civilized, and courteous manners, while still being themselves, integrating with the world but still preserving and deeply embodying the precious beauty of Vietnamese style and culture.
