SOCIAL COMMUNICATION IN MULTI/INTERCULTURAL ENVIRONMENTS

Duration: 1-2 sessions (3 hours per session)


Purpose


This training course on cultural intelligence and intercultural communication will enhance understanding of cultural differences and appreciation for various cultures. Participants will gain knowledge about cultural diversity, learn to identify the impact of culture on global business relationships, and develop specific interaction and working styles tailored to different cultures.


Content:


  1. International etiquette in the context of globalization.
  2. Understanding the norms of designated cultures as well as cultural similarities and differences, and how culture can affect relationships between clients and companies.
  3. Adhering to international behavioral rules and complying with various cultural protocols.
  4. Communication methods in a multicultural/intercultural environment; strategies for handling culture shock.
